Caribbean Blue Water Sailing

Aboard Shaitan you can find out what Blue Water Sailing is all about or just add another great sailing trip to your log. You will cross the Caribbean Sea and visit some of the nicest places the Eastern Caribbean has to offer. Find out how comfortable a properly fitted yacht can be, even when sailing to windward on the open ocean.
Blue Water Cruises will start out of St. Thomas, VI or out of St. Martin. ( Might be different during the summer months ) From there we will sail south and east, according how we can make the best use out of current wind and weather. The sail might take us as far as the beautiful islands off the north coast of Venezuela. A week (or more time) on the yacht will be a mixture of up to two day long sails and visits on islands, where there will be time to see and enjoy Caribbean life. We can cover up to 600 nm within a week. Itineraries can be customized, if the circumstances allow it.
The all inclusive price is US $ 1500 per person per week. A single person can reserve a cabin for US $ 2250 per week. Not included are meals ashore and costs for other shore related activities and water sports not supplied by the yacht, Custom Clearance, dockage in marinas and gratuity. Discounts are available for cruises 14 days or longer. Groups of six person or more can book the entire yacht. The yacht will be fully provisioned; bar limited to quality brands of standart spirits and beers, as well as good table wines as supplied and chosen by the yacht.
Because we operate also in the Term Charter Trade, where the yacht gets randomly booked by the week, there is no fixed sailing schedule possible. Scheduling is done according to individual inquiries for Blue Water Sailing. A minimum of four participants per cruise have to be found.
